Can I subscribe today?
No. Checkout is not open yet, so there is nothing to pay for and no card details are collected anywhere on this site. The free browse pages are the whole product today. Leave your address and you will get one email when paid access opens, with the price you see above.
Where does the data come from?
State sales-tax permit records published by the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts as Public Domain. A permit is required before a business makes taxable sales, so a new permit is an operational signal rather than a statement of intent. We collect the register daily, normalise it, and keep a dated history.
Does this predict future openings?
No, and we will not claim otherwise. Many locations record a first-sale date earlier than their permit date. This is a record of where business is operating and expanding.
Who handles billing?
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and handles all customer service enquiries relating to payments and taxes.
Can I cancel?
Any time, and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. See the refund policy.
